On the occasion to mark his forthcoming collections of furniture, to be presented at the Salone del Mobile, Nigel Coates presents an installation that celebrates their spirit. This work includes two drawings entitled “Gli Scubisti”. Both show a maelstrom of chairs, sofas and lamps. They will be exhibited each with their own Gallino console table and Galleggio sofa', a re-edition of an important pieces for Poltronova originally realized in 1990.
"Hiyam" : Large chandelier rivested in metal foil gold available in several versions. A tribute to orient, inspired to the burmese temple the soul of his culture. A geometric sequence that radiates into space spreading light and energy.
"BLOW GLASS"
Eclectics vases therefore brilliant and clear, but also rough and non-transparant; the result is objects not only for the eye but also glass asking to be caressed, design Melvin Anderson.
