Designers Laura Aquili & Ergian Alberg AquiliAlberg Architects

Laura Aquili & Ergian Alberg have worked at Zaha Hadid, OMA, UNStudio, ONL and Fuksas before starting the Aquilialberg Architects office. The first design project was with Moroso in 2007 and their first interiors were a new headquarter in Milan and a new exhibitions concept for the renowned auction house Christie’s. The studio completed in 2009 an ambitious housing project and an installation project at La Triennale di Milano. The first project in the fashion world was the sculptural backdrop for Neil Barrett show, AW-2010. From 2011 Aquilialberg Architects collaborate with fashion designer Philipp Plein, designing more then 50 stores and show-rooms worldwide, two villas in Cannes, an headquarter in Lugano, an installation at Jimmy’z in Monaco and a town house in New York. From 2018 they collaborate with the tannery Superior, a luxury leather producer for which they designed the Milan show-room, the Paris exhibition boot, and the production building with offices. Togheter with Illulian, they presented at Salone del Mobile 2019 a series of rugs made with a combination of leather and silk. Recently they are working on some private apartments, on a villas in Los Angeles and Lugano. Their clients in the product design field include, Moroso, Illulian, Fiam, Ernestomeda, Kundalini and Serralunga. In 2019 the editor Hachette selected Aquilialberg Architects for the monography “I Maestri dell’architettura”. Work of Aquilialberg Architects has been published and exhibited worldwide.
