Controlled Randomness

Investigating the effects of a controlled crack on a stone slab becomes the pretext for rethinking a material like marble, highlighting and enhancing its fragile and delicate side. This process of breaking, guided by the hand of the designer, preserves a randomness, impossible to control and which gives each product a unique character.
The grid of cracks enriches the aesthetics of the stone by designing a pattern that plays on colour contrasts.
The collection is declined in a furniture series of tables and console, floor and wall finishes, which combine the graphic signs of colour patterns with the natural warmth of stone and its imperfections.
