Taking up the invitation of the Municipality of Milan, from September 28th to October 10th Isola Design District will participate in Milan Design City with Isola Open Studios.

The spirit is to relaunch the city of Milan as the international capital of design and creativity, and it is precisely for this reason that our event will focus on the main creative realities of the district. Open doors for artisan workshops, galleries and design studios, then, among which could not miss the Angelo della Pergola Gallery by Myriam Kuehne Rauner, in via Angelo della Pergola 1, and Algranti LAB, by Pietro Algranti, in via Pepe 20 and 28, which will present their new projects. 
Another location to mark on the agenda is Viafarini, which joins giving visitors the opportunity to meet by appointment the artists and designers who reside there, both in the spaces of Via Farini 35 and the Viafarini Archives at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Via Procaccini 4. Not to be missed, always on Via Farini: at 32 the design projects related to the world of food by TourDeFork in collaboration with Zafferano del Cardinale for Secret Saffron, and at 57 Isoladesignstudio, design studio that will immerse you in the colors and shapes of their wonderful design apartment. 
In the central via Borsieri 12, the Key Gallery will host the exhibition Urban Connection, while moving to via Regaldi 6 you can visit the loft Spinzi design and discover the latest collection of interiors by Tommaso Spinzi.
The program of events will range from openings and product presentations within the locations of the circuit, to talks and workshops organized in "live" and streaming version on Among those in evidence there are the appointments with Soma Studio Milano, an agency in Milan that deals with creating and editing content to raise public awareness on the issue of sustainable design. The founders of the studio Ana Luiza Magalhães and Marlon Chiumento, in fact, will confront some of the protagonists of Isola Design Community to talk about biomaterials and circular economy, exploring these topics through their projects. 
On this occasion also starts the collaboration with @Lamitex, a company that produces eco-friendly, cutting-edge surfaces with exceptional aesthetic and technological qualities dedicated to the world of design, which stands out as sponsor of the initiative.
