Since 2016 we have brought to the Tortona area the design that can change the world
This year, design will go through a new dimension, the digital one, enriching itself with alternative languages: video schedules, webinars and online launches of new collections will allow virtual visitors to be reached by involving them in a large hypertext, including insights and special documents, usable at all times.
Tortona Rocks #5 will tell its journey into the world of design, without entering the post-industrial spaces of Opificio 31 and the redeveloped architectures of the Tortona district, but will present a capsule edition - DESIGN THROUGH - which will allow us to digitally experience many first-rate themes that animate the debate of contemporary design.
The selection of projects presented at the Fuorisalone Digital will be a path between manufacturing, circular design, sustainability and technology to show how design crosses disciplinary barriers to produce solutions in the name of the convergence of knowledge by presenting alternative and innovative proposals to restore the relationship between man and nature.
Norwegian Presence's furniture design proposes a new aesthetic of sustainability by evolving in the name of the circular economy with a collection of long-lasting pieces that winks at the artistic world; the young designers of Worth Partnership Project - trans-European research initiative - will show how design can be reinvented in a world that changes with the experimentation of new materials and digital innovation, Totguard in collaboration with Pinwu will present Weaving Forest, a new set furniture modules made entirely with bamboo, a traditional Chinese material; Mentemano will be able to fascinate the public even remotely, thanks to a design that emphasizes a strong architectural matrixThe Playful Living, the co-design platform, will present contemporary furnishing solutions with digital settings that will allow you to view the moments of life, play and work of a family with three children of different ages.
