Tai Ping

A year after the opening of its first showroom in Milan, located in a historical location in the heart of Brera, Tai Ping is proud to take part in Milan Design City and present two new collections.

The new showroom, with a double window that overlooks the splendid setting of Piazza San Simpliciano, offers a special setting to the public, entrusted to the exhibition of Tai Ping collections, and is also a privileged space to discover the history of the brand and its manufacturing techniques: hand-tufting, the result of ancient knowledge, handed down over the years, and hand-knotting.

Tai Ping is a custom rug manufacturer that has won international acclaim for its innovative design, superior quality, and unparalleled concierge service. Recognized for over six decades as the designer and manufacturer of choice for a discerning global clientele, Tai Ping graces the floors of the most prestigious residences, boutiques, hotels, private jets and yachts around the world.

Tai Ping is taking the opportunity of Milan Design City to introduce to the Italian design scene its latest textured collection: Lattice Wool Series, spectacularly expanding its already established portfolio of textured designs. Lattice Wool Series revolves solely around wool, honouring the world of possibilities offered by this natural yarn. Ten designs have been created to magnify wool’s natural beauty through a contemporary lens, and manufactured by hand by Tai Ping’s skilled artisans in the brand’s world-famous ateliers in China.

Simultaneously, Tai Ping is presenting its most recent hand-knotted collection: Flourish. Flourish utilizes hand-knotted construction techniques that are challenged with the vibrant colour tones and expressive compositions of the designs. Created by master artisans in Nepal, these made-to-order rugs use only the finest natural materials, primarily Tibetan wool and Chinese silk.

Come and discover the artistry of Tai Ping in the Piazza San Simpliciano showroom!
