AWA

A ball made from air wrapped in liquid is called “Awa” in Japanese. This design sprung from the idea of creating lighting that looks like soft glass which has retained its shape after being inflated. I hope it gives the impression of seeing a ball of air floating when you look up. Another characteristic of this design is that its wood and metal parts look made of glass, as if they were stoppers (corks) for the air.

9h ninehours

Urban overnight lodging specializing in stays for business and other active purposes, based on the concept of one hour of showering, seven hours of sleep and one hour of getting dressed, adding up to nine hours. This focusing of the functions of lodging as just sleeping and showering is a radical approach. Customers sleep in the "Sleeping Pod," 9h’s original fiber-reinforced plastic unit, while all places outside the unit are public space shared with all other customers. Units use the "Shinshitsu Kankyo (Bedroom Environment) System," in which customers fall asleep and wake up according to the light, with the aim of providing a good night’s sleep for the sleeping time available.

BONBORI

The gentle light of Bonbori pays tribute to a traditional Japanese lantern. Its skilfully crafted handblown glass and soft luminescence create a magical and festive ambience to be enjoyed as thoroughly in solitude as with family and friends. The new indoor light features special connectors developed by Brokis that make it easy to unplug and move outside to a covered exterior space, for instance.

CADO vase

The design reflects cherry blossoms to the world of glass and is inspired by the traditional Japanese performing art "Flower arrangement(Cado)". It also means "gift (Cadeaux)" in French. It consists of two colored pieces of blown glass, and the pink lower base can be decorated with flowers and branches, and the clear upper base can be decorated with petals and pebbles. Since it can be used repeatedly or individually, plants can be simply incorporated into the lifestyle regardless of the season.

UNIT + TEA = "UNITEA". The 14 units, made of heat-resistant glass, stainless steel and plastic, are all designed to have the same mouth size. By combining a strainer and a lid with a cup or jug, we propose the enjoyment of freely "creating" daily tea time. When, where and what to drink. Tea wear created according to the scene and taste. The design concept is "easy and active". While functional, it creates a relaxing tea time.

Thermometer [Kennon-kun]

This digital thermometer was designed under the concept of “a mother's love” with emphasis on the basic functions of measurement and reading. The flat tip fits comfortably under the arm, the large display is easy to read, and the soft form is comfortable to hold. Since its launch in November 2004 more than 77 million of these thermometers have been sold. In 2013 the thermometer was updated at the request of users to shorten measurement time and make it more compact, while retaining the same design concept. It has set a new standard for thermometers and is cherished by customers.
