Designers Rocco Iannone

Born in 1984, originally from Catanzaro, Rocco Iannone landed in fashion after his high school
studies and after obtaining a Fashion Design Degree at the Marangoni Institute in Milan.
His professional path, guided by the conception of a creativity always aligned with the evolutions
of the market and global business, began in 2006 with his joining Dolce & Gabbana,
which was followed by a long experience in the style office of the Giorgio Armani Uomo division,
where he remained until 2017, also acquiring responsibility for special projects.
2017 was the year in which he accepted the appointment as creative director of Pal Zileri, entering
the sphere of the Mayoola for Investments LLC fund and further implementing his stylistic and
entrepreneurial vision, characterized by a focus on experimentation and contaminations between
different worlds and creative fields.
The experience gained during these formative years led him to recognize and consolidate certain
pivotal values that still guide his integrated approach to fashion.
At Dolce & Gabbana, Iannone developed a love for the product, approaching haute couture and
the expression of beauty and Italianness through the sartorial construction of garments.
His ten years with Giorgio Armani broadened his perception of the role of the creative, who is
called upon to define a clear and recognizable stylistic figure, but also to develop a seamless
managerial vision between a brand's style and its performance on the market.
Paul Zileri is the first company in which Iannone immediately operates at the forefront, plotting a
360-degree image and identity strategy in which the brand's resignification work draws on the
territory's artistic and architectural heritage-a perspective particularly akin to his deep humanistic
sensibility.
The biggest challenge comes in 2019, when Ferrari launches its new Fashion & Lifestyle business
unit, entrusting him with responsibility for an extremely ambitious plan: Iannone is the first
creative director of an automotive company's first expansion project into the luxury clothing and
accessories segment.
His collections follow one another on the catwalks of Milan, calibrating a developing narrative that
starts from direct references to the racing universe and then veers toward an evolved and parallel
aesthetic narrative: a new dimension that transcends the car object to translate its emotions and
feelings into the lexicon of fashion.
Light, matter, form and color still remain center stage as Iannone continues to interpret the codes
of performance, technology and innovation with the gaze of contemporary elegance, impeccable
tailoring and the most sophisticated craftsmanship.
