BONBORI

The light is inspired by the traditional paper lamps that line the paths to shrines and temples during the annual paddy harvest festivals in Japan. In Japanese, the word bonbori not only denotes this traditional form of lighting, it also describes the soft light coming from within a snowy cave. Its skilfully crafted handblown glass and soft luminescence create like a festive ambience. The Bonbori collection is available in both indoor and outdoor variants.

AWA

A ball made from air wrapped in liquid is called “Awa” in Japanese. This design sprung from the idea of creating lighting that looks like soft glass which has retained its shape after being inflated. It gives the impression of seeing a ball of air floating when you look up. Also, the impression of the socket part is reminiscent of bottle cork.
