The Metaverse is a virtual place where, according to projections, a part of our future lives will take place, in complementarity with the real world. This raises important questions: Who will design it? What interactions will be possible with architectural spaces and design products? Will the Metaverse duplicate the real world or require a new design approach? Moreover, artificial intelligence threatens to make the architect and designer disappear, replacing them with the "collective" creativity of programs that create a design visualization from a simple script, thus effectively eliminating the uniqueness of each designer's approach. What future lies ahead? The debate is open.
