Brands RUBINO GAETA

Francesca Rubino is the creative soul of this project. She was born in Milan and grew up in Gaeta, her family's town of origin.
She currently lives and works in Milan, while maintaining close ties with Gaeta, which has been a major influence on her creativity. 

While studying at the IED in Rome fashion design she began working as a designer in Roberto Capucci's haute couture tailoring. After finishing her studies, she moved to Milan in 1989 to work with Gianfranco Ferrè for Dior. She then joined the creative studio of Moschino, where she worked for two decades and left to join Valentino and then Armani. She is currently a freelancer who is passionately dedicated to her personal project. 

Rubino Gaeta was born from the need to reconnect personal relationships and put creativity back at the center of Francesca's life.
By reknitting the threads of her career as a designer, in this new chapter, she has chosen to express her creativity not only in the garments but also in the production process that leads to their creation. 

A sensitivity to social issues and a different focus on reuse combined experiences and friendships into a creative project, experimenting with new possibilities in fashion.
