Flavio Lucchini PREVIEW. MY MEMORIES

During the Art Week the exhibition Flavio Lucchini PREVIEW. MY MEMORIES opens in the spaces of the FLA at Superstudio Più, also continuing during the Milan Design Week, and beyond. The series of portraits by the master, in color and black and white, is a preview of the artworks he executed in 2023, which gives a taste of the mix of art, fashion and creativity of his production. Two artists' armchairs by Studio Nava+Arosio are exhibited together.

Architecture Art Fashion and jewels

“Previews. My Memories" is a series of one hundred...non-portraits, of faces, in which color, but also the graphic clarity of black and white, intentionally replaces the detailed definition of features. Together with the "Memories" are exhibited two artist armchairs designed by Studio Nava+Arosio for Rubelli Casa as part of the "Vision 47" project. The location is the FLA, museum and atelier, at the Superstudio, where the artist has given shape, life and substance for over thirty years to his mysterious and multifaceted vision of femininity and fashion.

Flavio Lucchini tells us “…they are ordinary women who passed by me, colleagues, models, editors, creatives, friends… whose facial features I don't want to remember, but the colours, the perfume, the essence. A few brushstrokes, which stimulate the memory of contemporary faces running towards the future, but also of many works of art that I loved".

A preview of the exhibition-event scheduled for the autumn on the occasion of its 95th anniversary, repeated in Italy and abroad, in collaboration with the Oblong Gallery.
