Designers Ariel Zuckerman

Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (2004) from Shenkar College of engineering and design, Tel – aviv.

Since graduation, Ariel has been developing and designing various pieces of furniture and products. Among which are modular woodwork systems that create a variety of furniture for the house and office environment, a multi-function modular system that holds L’Oreal products and others for Office Depot displays, DIY outdoor and indoor storage solutions for the North American and European market as a designer for “Keter”, one of the leading plastic companies in the world.

Products designed by Ariel have been displayed in various exhibitions, museums and galleries, and won awards; some of the products got many publications and sales worldwide.

In 2008 Ariel started his own studio which specializes in consumer products, furniture and lighting.

In 2013 he was a finalist at the Israeli Design Award and won the Excellence Scholarship “Fresh Paint “Fair.

Lately Ariel has designed unique collections.

“Folded”: Using techniques borrowed from the discipline of paper and applying them to innovative wooden sheets. The collection has been on sale at “Tollmans”, “Nisko”, Germany and France. It has been published in leading worldwide magazines with high appreciation.

“Knitted”: A series of light fixtures that combines technology with tradition. Industrial knitted fabric with a handmade knitted detail is mounted onto a skeletal structure. This collection has also been worldwide appreciated by key publications and buyers.

“Street capture”: a project that sits on the fine line between art and design, by creating objects that basically are wooden graffiti canvas. Ariel teaches design at the SCE College.
