Hello! My name is Mateo, born and raised in Ecuador with a Brazilian mom and an Italian dad. I speak Spanish, English, Italian, Portuguese and French I’m currently studying architecture in Politecnico di Milano. My family is full of artists and musicians, both my grandparents are architects, that is where my admiration for Marcel Breuer and his furniture comes from. I’ve grown up surrounded by art in all its forms. I have always had a passion for design, specially fashion, furniture and of course architecture. When I was 10 years old my mom became a wild life photographer, she travelled a lot and I was lucky enough to come along, this opened my eyes to a whole new way of seeing and experiencing the world. Over the years I became very interested in photography, I followed her steps, but with a focus on design. Last summer I worked for obbbio creative studio, where I helped with social media and content creation for the fashion, furniture and architectural collections, this made me realise how passionate I am about it.
