My name is Beatrice De Pinto, I am 19 years old, I come from Catania, and I am an architecture student at the Polytechnic of Milan. In these years of study I have interacted with many people and this has greatly helped me to increasingly broaden my interests, which are currently not only limited to the field of architecture, but also literature, cinema and photography. In general I have always been fascinated by art and its materialization in everyday life: therefore not only and not so much the works of art preserved in museums, but even more so the buildings seen in cities and in the world which testify to the beauty of human intelligence. This beauty also materializes in what does not fully define human genius, but also in its simplicity and purity typical of people. And it is precisely this synthesis that I would like to be conveyed by my photographs. The impressionists tried to immortalize the moment, and I fully agree with this: the moment of the greatness and beauty of the world, but also of the little things, of the simple people and of the everyday landscapes that surround us, which in their spontaneity make us they say it all. The beauty of photography in my opinion lies in the fact that each shot is unique and irreplicable as it portrays a moment that will only be that way in that moment, and therefore represents us fully.
