Alberto Biagetti and Laura Baldassari want to make us children again through a project dedicated to our childhood companions and true "friends for life," PETS!

PET THERAPY is a way to relive that idea of childlike wonder, made of endless joy and enthusiasm, which we too often forget; the authors choose to do so through a series of objects that seem to belong to a dreamlike space, where the unconditional (and mutual) love of a furry four-legged friend transforms every return home into a special moment.

The project is presented through a site-specific installation inside Atelier Biagetti and includes all new pieces made in collaboration with the futuristic Labseventy.

Giant cats, lunar and docile, become sculptural seats in the shade of soft palm trees colored with luminous coconuts. Each object is a functional sculpture thought of as a device that can activate the idea of a borderless home where the indoor space blurs with the outdoor space and where play becomes a serious thing that one can no longer do without.

This scene, in which the observer unwittingly becomes the protagonist, is also composed of some polychrome seats similar to the large game balls of the beaches of Romagna, where time seems to never pass; in this regard, the cuckoo clock is a metaphor of "awakening" and thought in a hybrid form suspended between the physicality of a typical Engadine window and a digital token (NFT), created in collaboration with Vitruvio Virtual Reality.

This new and unprecedented domestic landscape aims to tell an unexpected story in which every object is a game, an enigma, a daydream, a hologram, designed and thought to be the real protagonist of a fairy tale that weaves wonder, desire and amazement.
