Oxilia Gallery presents: DIECI
From June 6th to 12th, for the debut, Oxilia Gallery will propose the works of 10 international artists and designers, protagonists of the collective exhibition DIECI (ten).
On show the works of Andrea Romano, DWA Design Studio, Flaminia Veronesi, Klaus Jurgen Schmidt, Lambert&Fils, Lotto Studio, NM3, Réjean Peytavin, Rio Grande, Thélonious Goupil
An exhibition on the theme of the vase in ten creations - some made for the exhibition -"animated" with floral arrangements.
For the occasion the gallery is presented to the public with a scenographic setting transformed into a blue box with the fifth of a silver curtain to serve as a backdrop.
Starting from the theme given, the involved artists explore the object "vase" in terms of functionality and aesthetics. Ranging from works in marble with handles, which simulate small bags, by DWA (Lillybet, 2021) to the chromatic and material explosion of the Dragon (2022) by Flaminia Veronesi - who here works with glass, papier-mâché, clay and enamels - to the anthropomorphic amphora of classical inspiration by Klaus Jurgen Schmidt (Koulis, Eleusis, 2022)
