MZ Project is an artistic laboratory I started in 2022, with the idea of turning my passion for creating objects and furnishings out of recycled materials into a reality that could reflect my own aesthetic taste.

My name is Maurizio Zonta and I deal with the design, development and production of pieces of furniture as well as artistic creations such as sculptures, paintings and installations, featuring an attractive design and a signature strong visual impact.

The purpose of my work, be it freely based on my own personal ideas or made on request, is to give a second life to previously used materials, whether they are ferrous production waste, wood, disused machinery parts, old furnishings or household appliances: in a few words, everything that is normally meant to be thrown away.

Originality is the hallmark of my entire production, together with the attention to detail, functionality and “robustness”, not only in a physical and material sense but also of the energy and strength that every piece unleashes at sight.

Each composition is one-of-a-kind and unrepeatable, given the origin and uniqueness of the material used, but above all given my personal dexterity, not to mention the infinite love and dedication to my work of art.
