IKSEL Decorative Arts warmly invites you to explore our showcase during Milano Design Week 2025 at the IKSEL Corner @Nobilis (Largo Treves, 5). Immerse yourself in our latest collection of Scenic and Repeat Design Wallpapers, Architectural Decors, and Furnishing Fabrics. Join us Monday to Saturday, 10 AM – 7 PM. This year, we are proud to present the Scenic Decor ‘Amazonia’, a tribute to the work of Belgian diplomat and draftsman Benjamin Mary (1792–1846). His evocative sketches of Brazil, first published in the 1830s, serve as the foundation for our composition, enriched with a touch of Mayan whimsy amidst the lush landscape.

We are also delighted to announce our collaboration with the Venetian heritage brand Fortuny, who has has selected IKSEL’s ‘Japanese Meadow’ to adorn their booth at Salone del Mobile (Padiglione 06, Stand A31). This exquisite decor, hand-painted in our studio, draws inspiration from a 17th-century Japanese screen, depicting a serene field of autumn wildflowers—Eulalia and Japanese bush clover—symbols of abundance.

Additionally, La Casa di Babette (Piazza di S. Maria delle Grazie, 1) celebrates the centenary of Art Deco with our ‘Art Deco Fountain’ wallpaper. This design reimagines Edgar Brandt’s iconic early-20th-century screen, originally crafted in welded metal. Our faux-painted version captures the spirit of an era when metalwork became a defining element of Art Deco in both Paris and New York.

Once available only in our Architectural collection, ‘Aleppo Red’ and ‘Aleppo Blue’ are now available in our Scenic collection. The beautifully painted early 17th-century panels that form these Decors were originally discovered in a grand house in Aleppo. Drawing inspiration from Persian and Ottoman traditions, our reinterpretation underlines their character with special patinas, giving the result a unique feeling. Decorators can mix and match the panels, wainscoting and borders to achieve an elegant, layered dimension.

Take this opportunity to rediscover several of our Decors across the city of Milan. At Verdeolivia (Via P. della Francesca, 15), you will find Dimonah Iksel’s ‘D-Safavid Reverie’, a vibrant composition inspired by 17th-century Safavid miniatures. Aldoverdi (Via Sansovino 13/A) features a striking combination of ‘La Fête Chinoise’, a lively Chinoiserie, and ‘Trellis Ceiling’, a classic Italian trompe-l’œil. At Marino (V.le San Michele del Carso, 9 & 10), ‘D-Rajput Fantasy’ in Pop colorway will be on display.

I Segni del Tempo (Via M. Formentini, 4) presents a stunning trio: ‘Palermo Stripes’, ‘Palermo Marbles’, and ‘Palermo Stars X-Ceil-ing’. Nap Atelier (Via Privata della Braida, 1) showcases ‘Italian Promenade’, and ‘Kubilai’s Tent’, printed on Glass Fibre. Bonati & Beneggi (Via E. Toti, 4) highlights ‘Swan Lake’ and ‘D-Dream’. Finally, Lo Studio (Via S. Maurilio, 11) will present a combination of ‘Kubilai’s Tent’ and ‘Japanese Stables’.
