TOOLS at Bulthaup, collective workshops
Students from the School of Artistic Design for Enterprise bachelor course and Product Design, master course, coordinated by professors Elisabetta Gonzo and Donata Paruccini, present TOOLS at Bulthaup, collective workshops: a retrospective exhibition on Brera Academy’s past participation at Salone del Mobile.
The exhibition will focus on the participation at Fuorisalone in the years 2019 (MisuraxMisura), 2022 (Mutazioni) and 2023 (On the Edge) at the Artistic Center Alik Cavaliere as well as at Salone Satellite 2023 (EX-Brera) and 2024 (Meccanica).
The exposition will be hosted inside the Bulthaup showroom, renewing the collaboration with the company that held the workshop Esercizi di Cucina in 2019/2020 for the masters’students.
It is conceived as an outgoing laboratory that combines photographic documentation and past projects to reflect upon the present and future role of Brera Academy’s Design School.
Prototypes and exhibition setup have been developed in collaboration with Artwood Academy, an educational complex hosting advanced laboratorial instruments, where students can acquire skills of the wood-furniture production sector.
Brera Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1776 with the mission of expanding the educational offer beyond the boundaries of art. A unique teaching concept that develops in the Brera building: the relationship between art and design has therefore historical roots.
Over the years, the training offer has been enriched with three-year and two-year courses in Project and Design, an educational system of artistic practices with deep humanistic origins.
Free entry (admissions will be limited according to capacity).
