Zona Sarpi 2026
DO IT BETTER, TOGETHER!
ZONA SARPI is a hub for innovation and connection that brings together business, culture and design, fostering the convergence of different cultures within a ‘glocal’ network that facilitates dialogue between Italy and Europe on the one hand, and China and Asia on the other. With an approach based on co-design, an active community of professionals and a solid network of stakeholders, it presents itself as an attractive, welcoming and authentic district, focused on quality of life and sustainable innovation.
The project is promoted by the Milan China Design Center and led by the artistic direction of Michele Brunello and Luca Fois. The theme of this edition is “Do it Better, Together!”, developed with RedNote and involving Asian artists and designers in dialogue with Milanese creativity. The programme features installations throughout the public space, such as the iconic portal in Piazzale Baiamonti, the flags on Via Paolo Sarpi and the illustrated wall in Via Bramante telling the story of Matteo Ricci, created in collaboration with the Marche Region. The route passes through five shops on Via Sarpi: Chateau Du Fan, IPPO, Cantine Isola 1, Foodie and oTTo cose, which will host the Zona Sarpi infopoint, till you reach Via Verga, with projects by The Playful Living, Dontstop Architettura (part of the Progetto CMR International group), Design Group Italia, Tempio del Futuro Perduto and the Teatro del Borgo, transformed into a new exhibition centre open to the city.
