HOW MIGHT WE Chapter 3 Kate Groobey
Ettore Sottsass’s quote inspires relations between art and design
Starting from the reflections generated by the quote by Ettore Sottsass “Colors are like words, with colors you can tell stories” a symbolic space created by DOMANI STUDIO transforms colors into atmospheres that accompany and amplify the narration. The inside hosts an artwork of the artist Kate Groobey, "Under siege" (2018-2019), a profound reflection around the theme of being a woman and the need to protect yourself better from others, but also from yourself. Thus, the use of strong colors and bold lines investigate and tell deep and complex issues.
