Unique padded glass: OLEV presents a new lamp design by Marc Sadler
Glass with an extraordinary three-dimensional ‘matelassè’ effect meets OLEV design and becomes a lamp.
In Milan, in the setting of the beautiful Officine Milano exhibition space in via Francesco de Sanctis 30, OLEV will present the new Beam Stick Nuance lamp in the precious ‘Balloton Edition‘ signed by the famous designer Marc Sadler.
The lamp is Made in Venice with pride, using 3 different layers of expertly crafted glass to achieve the unique gradient effect.
What makes it unique is the glass sphere’s particular three-dimensional effect, obtained by placing the incandescent glass inside a metal mold with small pyramid-shaped tips.
The hollow sphere contains a dual light source that allows a gentle glow to softly filter from the inside, enhancing the glass’s fine nuances, and at the same time projects an unfiltered light beam downwards.
