Tables, mirrors, consoles, cupboards and other furnishings are the stars of the new Animalist Design creative project. These objects, presented on the occasion of Fuorisalone 2023, come to life by drawing on the brand's local area and its artisanal and cultural heritage. The trait common to them all is an animalier design made with the same artistic vocation and manual skill also found in the brand's jewellery.

Developed by designer Giovanni Raspini in collaboration with Lucio Minigrilli and Erika Corsi, the dream world of Animalist Design is the result of an idea that shapes material and gives new forms to everyday life. The decorations of the furnishings, featuring the figurative and organic world, are created with a sculptural rendering that borders on virtuosity and echo the brand's deepest-rooted identity, from jewellery to household objects.

The furnishing range for these elements is varied and versatile: like real works of art, the objects – sold to order – have an expressive capacity capable of dialoguing with disparate elements, from more modern and minimal environments to those that are more richly decorated. Bronze meets the crudest iron, mixing different patinas that make each piece changeable: as time passes it transforms the furnishings and what we see today is not what we will find tomorrow, providing a continual panorama of new and unexpected colour possibilities.

Life-size iguanas stroll on tables with a brutalist flavour, honeycombs richly populated with bees hang from the corners of consoles, small mice transform into handles while bats take flight from enormous mirrors. The shapes of each element are enhanced by the chiaroscuro of the workmanship and the colours of the metal patinas, finding expressive autonomy in a playful dialogue comprising sculptural volumes and shapes with blunt and formal linearity.
