Doyenne: Harmony of Opposites
An exhibition that tells the story and creative process behind the realisation of the capsule collection of the recent collaboration between Doyenne, a skate brand and design studio, and Nike SB. The project involved a strong study of materials and wearability, reflecting the values of inclusivity and accessibility that Doyenne cultivates since their start.
Inspired by women artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe, Louise Bourgeois and Ray Eames, the collection celebrates traditional workwear pieces with active elements and recycled materials.
Carefully designed to adapt with its wearer, the clothes combine comfort and versatility, while celebrating the duality of being that is present within all of us.
