Gaetano Pesce realises a unique installation, ‘Vieni a Vedere’, in the Bottega Veneta Montenapoleone store for view during Miart and Milan Design Week. The resin and fabric-rendered space recalls ‘a grotto’, following the outline of a figure shooting for a basket. ‘Vieni a Vedere’ presents a limited edition of handbags, ‘My Dear Mountains’ and ‘My Dear Prairies’, handcrafted by Bottega Veneta for the artist according to his designs. The bags echo Pesce’s early life in Italy, raised near the mountains in Este and the prairies of America, where the artist lives today.

‘Vieni a Vedere’ and the edition of bags are on view from 15-22 April at the Bottega Veneta Montenapoleone store in Milan. A visit can be booked through the brand’s website.
