On the occasion of the Milano Design Week 2024, Marie Claire Maison commissioned architect Francesco Rota with a project midway between the visionary and the impossible: to create his own personal home inside the GAM, the Galleria d'Arte Moderna located inside Milan's Villa Reale in Via Palestro. Here, among the rooms that date back to the end of the 18th century, Francesco Rota imagined the setting up of a series of personal rooms, created to illustrate his vision of living. The space was imagined by Rota by bringing together in the rooms all the authentic values of Italian design to which he is particularly attached: comfort, simplicity, functionality and a sophisticated aesthetic taste that is always measured, surprising, but never excessive.
