A new dimension of water
Swiss bathroom specialist LAUFEN transforms the LAUFEN space Milano into a nocturnal installation featuring the first products created in collaboration with Swiss designer Yves Behar. Inspired by the magic of water and its movement, the designer has created new objects in Saphirkeramik fired in the world’s first CO2-free electric kiln. A video projection reproduces the mesmerizing transformation of ceramic within the e-kiln.
The experiential itinerary starts in the courtyard where a mock-up of the e-kiln shows the raw washbasins and conveys a sense of the process of transformation masterfully enacted by LAUFEN and embodied by the products showcased on the second floor.
The installation, curated by Beda Achermann and Matteo Fiorini of Studio Lys, explores LAUFEN’s dedication to quality excellence and the commitment to a more sustainable production.
