Sussurro
Sussurro is reminiscent of clouds shifting colors during sunrise or sunset, creating a peaceful and grounding experience.
The series features tufted rugs with an interplay of color and texture, forming gentle topographies of material that emerge in different heights and textures against a neutral background, adding depth and dimension to the design.
In collaboration with JOV, we’ve explored their craftsmanship and tufting techniques to enhance the sensation of layered softness, making the most out of the material’s potential to create a skyscape of touch and color.
The clouds are crafted from soft New Zealand wool, while the background is made with a luxurious blend of fine wool and natural silk, creating a seamless fusion of texture and refinement.
