North Sails x Marco Oggian installation
A monumental inflatable sculpture reimagining the classic paper boat in a giant format, crafted entirely from the nylon used for spinnakers. Standing approximately 4-5 meters tall and 10 meters long, the structure celebrates the allure of sailing and great voyages, conveying to the audience the energy and emotion of the open sea through the eyes of a child. (Accessible to all, as are the other options.)
The panels of the boat are not just surfaces but serve as storytellers, explaining the technology that makes sailing an incredible sport—or way of life: North Sails Technology.
A section of the surface showcases how the sails are made, highlighting the innovation and research behind materials capable of withstanding the most extreme conditions. Translucent panels and graphic details reveal the nylon's texture and explain why these sails are essential for those who brave the ocean.
Free tote bag distribution until stock lasts.
