A seven-day event of panels, workshops, dj  sets,  and exhibitions with the leading names in architecture, art and fashion. door, the Repubblica magazine with  Editor-in-Chief  Emanuele Farneti,  launches Opendoor, its first event dedicated to outdoor design during the coming Milan Design Week.

In the exclusive venue of the Chiostri di San Barnaba, in the heart of the city, Opendoor will be held from 7 to 13 April, with a unique exhibition space enriched by panel discussions and interviews. These will bring together some of the most important designers along with key personalities from other sectors, including art, fashion, literature and architecture. The ‘Extraordinary Conversations’ will offer the Design Week public and all visitors unexpected dialogues that will reimagine the theme of the outdoors in a perspective based on bodies, leisure, relaxation, play and taste.  Guests will include Antonio Citterio, Michele De Lucchi and Nico Vascellari, Fabio Novembre and Davide Oldani, Piero Lissoni and Antonio Marras, as well as Patricia Urquiola, Formafantasma, and Francesco Vezzoli.

The event’s schedule and art  installations  are curated by Luca Molinari, architect, critic, and curator of exhibitions and events dedicated to architecture, design, and arts.

A Garden of Wonders in which the main site-specific installation “Delights” will be  created by Agostino Iacurci  in the Chiostro dei Pesci. Internationally renowned artist and designer, Iacurci has envisioned a surreal and dreamlike garden, where sculptures and furniture will bloom like flowers among plants and trees. This diffuse garden, blending nature and artificial elements, will be curated by Francesca Santambrogio, offering nearly 1,000 square meters to explore the latest innovations in the outdoor world—from furniture to wellness, fashion, mobility, and food.
