DINING VERTICALE Traga x Mercato Centrale
On April 23rd at 6:30 PM, the cocktail bar at Mercato Centrale Milano will host an evening aperitivo with a live DJ set to officially launch the project.
The event is designed as a convivial and informal gathering to welcome press, designers, creatives, and Design Week guests, offering a unique opportunity to connect and explore within one of the city’s most dynamic locations.
At the heart of the initiative is a site-specific installation by TRAGA, which transforms a wall of the space into a suspended scene dedicated to the ritual of dining. In a context like Mercato Centrale, where everything typically unfolds on a horizontal plane — through tables, counters, the flow of people, and food laid out on surfaces — the project introduces an unexpected twist: a vertical dimension that reinterprets the experience of togetherness through a contemporary lens.
It is an event where design, experimentation, and sociality converge, giving life to a new way of experiencing space and the aperitivo moment.
