In the framework of the Fuorisalone Award 2026, the Special Mentions aim to select and promote projects, events and contents of relevance for Design, qualitatively innovative and rich in meaning. These recognitions aim to raise the Design Culture, which is not necessarily evident in its physical and aesthetic expression, but in its deeper content, producing value and offering alternative and increasingly innovative visions.

The 8 projects in this section have been identified by the Fuorisalone.it editorial staff with the help of the Technical Committee and are competing to win the Special Mention dedicated to the theme of Engagement & Interaction: pprojects that activate a real dialogue with people and the context, transforming design into a shared experience capable of engaging, including and generating participation. The project is also measured by the quality of the relationships it manages to build.
