A MATERIAL STORY WORTH TELLING 

We choose materials with the highest quality and the lowest impact. Since the beginning, the emphasis has been on top-quality natural fibers like wool and jute, with a special emphasis and focus on sisal. Understanding that natural fibers have performance limitations, Curran sources and develops technical materials that are at the leading edge of sustainability standards while meeting performance requirements of demanding settings.

THE SISAL LOOK, BUILT FOR CONTRACT

Developed by Curran, SynSisal® is the culmination of decades of experience working with sisal in a wide array of settings and design styles. At the heart of the project is an unwavering vision to capture the organic texture, warmth, and character of sisal with low-impact technical materials, freeing it from the performance limitations of natural fiber. The result is a sisal without limits, with fire rating and heavy contract benchmarks accounted for. Now an iF Design Award Winner and found in inspiring projects around the world,SynSisal® is the definitive sisal-look option for high design settings. The line expands in 2026, with the introduction of a modular tile product and an all-purpose indoor/outdoor edit.
