Brands INTERNI
A monthly magazine distributed in 50,000 copies, first published in 1954 as the first Italian periodical dedicated to interior decoration, INTERNI is today one of the leading communication platforms in the field of contemporary Italian and international design, as well as an indispensable working tool for professionals and design enthusiasts.
In 2024, it celebrated its seventieth anniversary, during which it had the privilege of sharing in the extraordinary and adventurous history of Italian furniture and interior design. It closely followed the growth that design achieved thanks to the vision and work of brilliant cultural figures, architects, designers, and capable, courageous entrepreneurs.
From the first half of the 1990s, the monthly became part of Italy’s leading publishing group, AME Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, and over time, under the direction of Gilda Bojardi, developed a system of parallel publications that transformed the magazine from an elite medium into a mass medium.
INTERNI’s activities also include the conception and coordination of events and exhibitions, organized to foster dialogue among designers, manufacturers, and distributors. The renowned FuoriSalone, the urban phenomenon that enlivens the city of Milan during the week of the Salone del Mobile, was launched in 1990 on the initiative of INTERNI. In 2021, it celebrated its 30th edition with the publication of the volume XXX-Y 30 Years of FuoriSalone | 1990–2020 Milano Design Stories (Electa).
Following the launch of INTERNI’s publications in China in 2015, further international editions are planned. INTERNI was also the communication partner of the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka | The Ideal City.
