NM3, based in Milan, works across product and space as both a brand and a consultancy agency, developing standardised and custom-made products while providing interior design, creative direction and architectural services, guiding projects from concept to execution through a coherent methodology.

NM3 believes in modernism as a form of expression and trusts functionalism as problem solving. It deals with form and composition, seeing ordinary abstractness as a source of infinite possibilities and extracting specificity through the strict ordinary: common elements, average industrial techniques, raw materials.

NM3’s products are crafted primarily from stainless steel, following a minimalist and functional approach. Each piece is produced with raw, unpolished finishes through precision-driven processes such as laser cutting and dry assembly, preserving the natural integrity of the material.

Our manufacturing starts with uniform sheet metal and uses medium-light metalworking techniques such as 2D numerical control cutting, bending, threading and inserts. During these processes, marks, textures and tonal variations naturally appear, revealing the honesty of untreated materials. These are not imperfections, but an integral part of the production process. Responsible material use, ethical production and durability are fundamental principles of NM3.

We use recyclable materials and preserve their natural finish, embracing a low-tech approach that prioritises longevity while reducing unnecessary steps between design and production.

NM3 exclusively uses materials in their natural state. The preservation of raw material identity defines the aesthetic and constructive character of each project.
