Brands Edizioni Design

EDIZIONI DESIGN was born in 2015 in Milan from the desire to bring together diverse multidisciplinary skills and materialize a new collection of products and furnishings with a strong and recognizable design identity.

The stylistic, commercial, and production vision of EDIZIONI stems from the synergy between Alberto Sala, Paolo Sala (ASPS Design Studio), and Federico Ferrari, who have long shared common interests and passions in the fields of design, architecture, and communication.

The products are deliberately positioned outside conventional trends, with a design approach that explores specific product areas—such as the world of fire and the fireplace—while pursuing a rational and almost primitive language, where form is strongly driven by function and by the intrinsic requirements of the material.

The technology employed is intentionally and deliberately “lo-fi,” while the primary material is metal, finished through galvanic treatments in the many refined variations this process allows.

The products are further enriched by construction details that are intentionally left visible, alongside the use of turned stone where more substantial volumes are required. The final result is far from being cold or purely rational; instead, it leaves space for emotion and for the tension created by strong contrasts—between solids and voids, sharp edges and soft curves.
