It starts with a four-week call for applications open to creatives from all over the world, aged between 18 and 25, coming from disciplines such as fashion, design, art, architecture, science, technology and engineering. Candidates must demonstrate a strong interest in the subject matter, exemplary creative potential and mastery of technologies or solutions for sustainable development. The Swarovski Foundation thus aims to attract a pool of candidates from all over the world to bring novelty to the creative process.

The funding will be combined with an educational programme in collaboration with top international institutions, tailored mentorship and networking connections with relevant industries under the guidance of the Swarovski Foundation. The projects will also be presented to the United Nations General Assembly in September 2021.
