On the occasion of Fuorisalone 2022, Alcova returns with an increasingly rich exhibition program, accompanied by events, talks, installations, site-specific and performative projects. After the success of its special edition for the Supersalone in September 2021, which welcomed more than 60,000 visitors, Alcova reopens the doors of the magnificent urban park of the Milan Military Hospital Center, an extraordinary place of great historical value for the city, reactivating and making a new area of the complex accessible to the public for the first time. With an exhibition itinerary that, between indoor and outdoor spaces, covers more than 20 hectares, that of 2022 is preparing to be an even larger and more ambitious edition.

Alcova 2022 confirms its focus on the evolutions and developments in the world of design, to offer as always an articulate and stimulating cross-section of it. The different projects on display will alternate proposals from established and internationally recognized figures with those of a selection of emerging talents, to explore new frontiers from the perspectives of technology, materials, sustainable production, social practices and any other current design direction. Alcova 2022 will also expand its range of experiences related to food and conviviality, with new collaborations.

Alcova is a platform dedicated to independent design created by Space Caviar (founded by Joseph Grima) and Studio Vedèt (founded by Valentina Ciuffi). Operating through an itinerant network of exhibition spaces in multiple locations around Milan, it reactivates forgotten historic places, temporarily interpreting them as venues for exhibition and cultural activities.
