Dropcity is a new center for Architecture and Design to be established along Via Sammartini in Milan, inside the Magazzini Raccordati of the Central Station. The project is an initiative born from an idea of architect Andrea Caputo back in 2018 with the aim of establishing a place for gathering and debate on Architecture, Design and the contemporary city. It is scheduled to open to the city in spring 2024.

Developed thanks to Nhood and with the support of Grandi Stazioni Retail, Dropcity defines an urban model unprecedented in Europe with more than 10,000 square meters, divided into 28 tunnels, that will house exhibition galleries, production ateliers, carpentry, robotics and advanced prototyping workshops. In addition, an area of significant square footage will be dedicated to research, education and office space for industry professionals. Completing the program will be a materials library and a public library, aimed at Architecture and Design topics.

In anticipation of Dropcity's final setup scheduled for spring 2024, a preview open to the city is scheduled from Tuesday, June 7, through Sunday, June 19, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a tight cultural schedule, a series of versatile activities and programs.
