Designers Maximiliano Crovato
Maximiliano Crovato was born in Brazil in the mid-1970s and studied architecture, specialising in design. In 2012, in São Paulo, he opened his own interior design studio, creating conceptual projects and bespoke spaces as a means of expression.
Challenging conventional notions of form and embracing the eccentric and the daring, Crovato combines geometric patterns and abstractions of nature with vibrant colour palettes. He infuses a sense of playfulness and imagination into everyday spaces, transforming them into whimsical and pleasant environments.
In 2018, he launched Geometria, his first furniture collection.
He has participated in internationally renowned fairs and exhibitions such as the Salon Art + Design in New York, Intersect Chicago, SP-Arte in São Paulo, the Lake Como Design Festival, a group exhibition at the Movimento Gallery, New Perspectives during Milan Design Week, Thema: Art + Design, Then and Now – Brazilian Legacy at Galerie Philia and, more recently, Héritage Culturel et Savoir-Faire during Paris Design Week.
He experiments with different expressive languages using bronze, leather, certified sheep’s wool and wood.
