Piloto Milano presents Echoes of Elsewhere, an exhibition curated by Ricardo Gaioso in
collaboration with Plus, exploring design as a form of translation — of experiences,
displacements, memories, and the frictions that emerge between different contexts. Urban living is approached as an unstable and evolving condition, expressed through objects shaped by non-
linear processes, where aesthetics, material research, and narrative construction converge in the work of designers from diverse geographies.

Set within one of Milan’s most historic Liberty buildings, the exhibition creates a deliberate
tension between contemporary design languages and layered architectural heritage. This
contrast opens a dialogue between memory and present-day possibilities, inviting visitors to
reflect on how urban life is continuously reimagined, negotiated, and lived today.
