Designers Aki Ishikawa

Aki Ishikawa’s creative universe originates from a profound harmony with the material: an attentive listening to strictly selected leathers, shaped stitch by stitch through entirely manual excellence.

In my work, I seek to give form to the philosophy of "Sei / Bi / Ryu no Omumuki" — the discreet charm of Silence, Beauty, and Fluidity.

My work does not end with visual aesthetics (Bi) alone; it aspires to that inner silence (Sei) which calms the soul at the moment of touch, and to that shifting fluidity (Ryu) which allows nuances to evolve and deepen over time. I firmly believe that only the harmony between these elements can generate true excellence.

It is through this daily dialogue with leather, in the intimacy of my workshop, that every ISHIKAWA piece comes to life: a unique work in the world, created to endure.
