Designers Alessia Serafini

Alessia Serafini is an Italian designer who lives and works between France and Italy. After graduating in industrial design from the IUAV Faculty of Architecture in Venice, she worked with various Italian companies and agencies before joining Andrée Putman’s Paris studio in 2008. Her professional practice has led her to approach design across various fields: interiors, furniture, objects... Because every project is a story to be told, one that begins with adrawing. She loves to explore the discipline using traditional drawing tools and to blend the ingredients of her projects as if creating a recipe. Guided by this principle, in 2016 she published with Editions de l’Epure: La main à la pâte: lundi c’est pas ravioli, a bookawarded the Eugénie Brazier Prize–iconography and image section. Today, she combines her work as a designer for clients such as Rdai, DIOR and Editionsde l’Epure–Gallimard with that of an illustrator for various publishing projects.
