Designers YUE LIU

Yue Liu is a Chinese food designer based in Milan. With a
background in Product Design from the China Academy of
Art and Politecnico di Milano, she works across food culture,
sensory design, and contemporary art. Her practice focuses
on creating innovative food experiences that foster more
mindful and meaningful connections between people and
what they eat. As a Chinese designer working internationally,
she explores ways to deconstruct and reinterpret traditional
cultural elements through a contemporary lens, revealing new
narratives within a global context. At the same time, she
engages closely with local communities, using food as a
medium for intercultural dialogue, shared understanding, and
social reflection.
