From May 6 to 21, a charity auction will be held online to support projects aimed at combating educational poverty
During Milan Design Week 2025, design becomes a tool for social change.
From May 6 to May 21, “Design for Save the Children”, a charity auction created to support Save the Children's initiatives against educational poverty, will be live online.
This initiative brings together brands, designers, and industry professionals, united by a common cause: offering children and young people living in disadvantaged areas of Italy the opportunity for a better future.
The project is based on a simple yet powerful principle: design is not only about beauty and innovation; it can also be a concrete vehicle for social impact.
Companies are invited to donate products and services, which will be auctioned on the CharityStars platform, a leading reference for online charity auctions.
All proceeds will go toward funding Save the Children’s Punti Luce — educational spaces where children and teenagers can express themselves, learn, and grow in safe and stimulating environments.
“Design for Save the Children” also stands as a virtuous example of sustainability: the entire project takes place online, reducing environmental impact and waste, and promoting optimized, conscious logistics.
There is time until May 5 to donate products or services for the auction.
A small gesture that can make a big difference.
