The interview

A conversation with Barnaba Fornasetti

Who are your heros and masters of design?

_

Naturally Enzo Mari and Gio Ponti. And the progenitor, Leonardo Da Vinci.

How you remain on top of the actual tendencies of the design?
_

I’m one of the last readers of the international’s paper magazines – I read a lot of it but I try not to let that effect on me. And I’m confronted with my team.

Which is your best place to be during the Design Week
_

There is a place surrounded by cypresses from where you have a really nice view on lake Como, in this place you enjoy a magnificent peace. This is exactly where I love to be during my meditative design week but I understand that I have to participate and immerse my shelf on the frenetic Design Week.

In this period of the year Milano change, it becomes cosmopolite.
