Like every year the Tortona district design week welcomes the most innovation and experimental design at Tortona Rocks, the exhibition project with a curatorial attitude that is one of Fuorisalone’s most exciting. These definitions have been earned in the industry, in previous editions that have made it an international antenna for avant-garde content exploring the latest trends in the design world. The seventh edition of Tortona Rocks is MATERIA – New perspectives in design, which investigates new spheres of design, following the systemic explosion of recent years that has freed material, in various fields from science to the arts. Which orbits is design travelling through in this primordial plasma of particles, atoms and new molecular clusters? Tortona Rocks explores this question by presenting a selection of international projects and brands whose distinctive feature is research.
