Brands PAOLA PARONETTO

A internationally renowned artist, Paola Paronetto creates works inspired by the world of nature, its colors, and its lightness. She expresses her delicate and intimate poetic universe by creating symbolic and animated objects—unique pieces poised between art and design.
Thanks to the Paper Clay technique, which consists of a mixture of paper pulp, natural fibers, and clay, Paola Paronetto creates lightweight yet durable objects, capable of uniting tradition and stylistic innovation.

Paola Paronetto approached the world of ceramics at a very young age, learning clay-working techniques from master ceramicists. Her free and curious spirit led her to experiment with different materials and expressive languages, until she encountered paper clay. The idea of a material that naturally escapes rigid rules fascinated her.
In her ceramic studio in Porcia, where she still lives and works today, the Cartocci collection was born in the early 2000s. Solid objects, yet light and soft like paper, they fully express her creative world: an affinity with a technique that requires layering and waiting, a search for forms that embrace
imperfection, and a strong sensitivity to color density.
Today, her paper clay works travel the world, freely intertwining with contemporary art and design. They are exhibited in selected showrooms, galleries, and museums (or museum shops) in Italy and abroad. They take part in the most important international design events, lightly touching other creative worlds.

The Ille Arts Gallery in New York and the Contemporary Ceramic Centre in London have both dedicated solo exhibitions to Paola Paronetto.

In 2021, the ADI Design Museum – Compasso d’Oro in Milan hosted her first retrospective exhibition in Italy.

Her work and sources of inspiration are collected in the photographic book “Paola Paronetto. Metafore”, presented at Triennale Milano in 2021.

In 2025 and 2026 she exposed her works of art at Maison&Objet in Parigi.
