Designers Antonella Mellini
Antonella Mellini is a conceptual artist and performer whose research investigates the energetic relationship between matter and perception. Her works emerge from a meditative and subconscious process, where gesture, color, and vibration become vehicles of hidden messages. Layers of pigment conceal positive words, transforming the surface into a field of emotional and energetic resonance.
Her practice establishes a dialogue between art, space, and design — understood as a language of form and relation. Sculptures and installations may be suspended, placed on the floor, or even inverted, reflecting her distinctive “upside-down vision” of the world and her desire to expand the viewer’s perception.
She has exhibited internationally in contexts such as Bozar (Brussels), Context Art Basel Miami, and the FIG Festival Internacional de Grabado (Bilbao). In 2019, GQ Magazine named her among the 7 “ young talents of contemporary art.”
Among her recent solo exhibitions are shows at Manuel Zoia Gallery (Milan) and Orma Art (Milan), as well as participation in international art fairs.
Antonella Mellini is listed on Artfacts, an international reference platform for contemporary art professionals.
